Fall is Falling!

Finally, the more or less indian summer we've been having is coming to a close. Supposed to get pleasant today and for the next few days.

My last post sounded like a bad rendition of a Doobie Brothers song - hehe.

Is it possible to be addicted to another person. Or is it just the endorphin rush from the combined mental and physical stimulation?

Am I just having the middle-aged crazies peering at the on-rushing light at the end of the tunnel that though it is years away is causing wierd biochemical reactions in my head? Nah, that can't be it by itself. After thinking about it for over a month now, I've come to realize that I haven't felt like this since I was in high school/college and the OOMA then was Nancy Lee Elizabeth C. I believe that even now, if she were to suddenly appear and want me I would have a hard time - possibly impossible - time saying no. The particularly bad part of that relationship was - it was totally un-requieted. We went to different schools to finish our degrees and then through a mutual friend told me that I wasn't wanted around any more. That didn't mean I stopped - it just mean't that she had moved on. She did come to the wedding and congratulated us but then I never heard from her again until she came back to town for her brother's funeral.
